What Crumbl CDMX is

Crumbl is a United States cookie chain, founded in Utah in 2017, that sells oversized cookies in pink boxes and changes almost its entire menu every week. On 28 July 2026 it opened its first store in Mexico at Calle Durango 225 in Roma Norte, Mexico City.

The opening became a news story rather than a food story. Mexican outlets reported a line of roughly 800 people wrapped around the block, waits of up to seventeen hours from people who had queued overnight, and enough congestion to snarl the streets of Roma Norte. El Universal called it a frenzy. As of September 2026 it is still the only Crumbl in the country.

The store itself is small and built for throughput. There is an open kitchen where you can watch the dough being mixed, baked and finished, a counter with self-service ordering tablets, and a screen listing delivery orders. There is no seating at all.

How the chain works

Crumbl’s model is worth understanding before you go, because it explains the queue. The company holds a catalogue of more than 270 recipes and releases only three or four flavours in any given week, announced on Sunday evening on TikTok and Instagram. Once a flavour rotates out it may not return for months.

The effect is a weekly deadline. People who want a specific cookie have to turn up in the week it is on sale, which is why the line reforms after each Sunday reveal rather than settling into a steady trickle. Crumbl runs the operation more like a software company than a bakery, with flavours tested against each other and the menu refreshed on a fast-fashion schedule.

The opening week in Mexico City ran Tres Leches Cake, Confetti Cake and S’mores as the limited flavours, with Cookies and Cream, Pink Sugar, Milk Chocolate Chip and Chocolate Chip Cookie Thins as the classics.

What I ate in August

I went on a weekday morning, waited about fifteen minutes and bought a box of six. Some of the cookies were still warm.

They were well made and very sweet. The Dubai chocolate brownie was almost as sweet as the dulce de leche one and thicker. The chocolate chip and the plain chocolate were the two that felt balanced rather than aggressive. My honest conclusion on the day was that beyond the marketing, I could not tell a Crumbl cookie apart from a good cookie at any other bakery in the city.

The flavours on sale during your visit will be different. That is the whole design.

What it costs

These are the official in-store prices published when Crumbl Mexico opened, in Mexican pesos, plus what I actually paid in August 2026.

ItemPrice
One cookie89 MXN, about 5 USD
Four cookies315 MXN, about 17 USD
Six cookies450 MXN list, about 500 MXN paid in August 2026
Twelve cookies885 MXN, about 48 USD
Monthly subscription, five cookies990 MXN
One cookie on delivery199 MXN
Six cookies on deliveryaround 1,100 MXN

The delivery markup is the number to pay attention to. Ordering a single cookie to your door costs more than twice the counter price, and a six pack roughly doubles. If you can walk to Durango 225, walk.

Do you need a reservation

No. Crumbl does not take bookings. You queue, order at the counter or on one of the tablets, and leave with a box. The chain’s app and website handle pickup and delivery orders, and the pickup screen inside the store shows what is ready.

The practical question is timing rather than booking:

  • Weekday mornings are the quietest. Around fifteen minutes when I filmed.
  • Weekday evenings are busier but manageable.
  • The first days after a Sunday flavour reveal draw the people chasing a specific cookie.
  • Weekend afternoons are the worst.

Getting there

  • Address: Calle Durango 225, colonia Roma Norte, 06700 Cuauhtémoc, Mexico City.
  • Metro: Insurgentes on Line 1 is about a ten-minute walk. Sevilla on Line 1 is similar.
  • Metrobús: the Durango and Álvaro Obregón stops on Line 1 along Insurgentes are the closest.
  • On foot: Durango runs east to west through Roma Norte, a few minutes from the Fuente de Cibeles on Plaza Villa de Madrid and from Avenida Álvaro Obregón.
  • Parking: there is no dedicated parking and Durango is a difficult street to stop on. Walk or take a taxi.

Before you go

  • Check the week’s flavours first. The Sunday evening reveal on the Crumbl Mexico social accounts tells you what is actually on sale.
  • Buy in a box, not one at a time. Six or twelve costs far less per cookie than singles, and the delivery price for one cookie is more than double the counter price.
  • There is nowhere to sit. Plan where you are taking the box before you buy it.
  • They are very sweet. One cookie between two people is a reasonable serving.
  • Go on a weekday morning if the queue matters to you. The seventeen-hour opening day is not the current experience.
  • Pair it with somewhere to sit down. Mackie’s Bagels and Deli and Ritmo Café are both a short walk away in Roma Norte.
  • Check the hours before you go. The hours on this page come from the venue’s public listings, which drift, so confirm on Google Maps or the venue’s own channels before a special trip.

Frequently asked questions

Where is Crumbl in Mexico City?+

Crumbl's first Mexican store is at Calle Durango 225, colonia Roma Norte, alcaldía Cuauhtémoc, Mexico City. It is a ten-minute walk from Insurgentes Metro on Line 1 and close to the Álvaro Obregón and Durango stops on Metrobús Line 1. As of September 2026 this is still the only Crumbl store in Mexico.

How much do Crumbl cookies cost in Mexico?+

The official in-store prices published when Crumbl Mexico opened are 89 MXN for one cookie, 315 MXN for four, 450 MXN for six and 885 MXN for twelve, plus a monthly subscription of five cookies at 990 MXN. Delivery costs far more: 199 MXN for a single cookie and around 1,100 MXN for six. When I went in August 2026 a box of six came to about 500 pesos, so treat the published list as the floor.

When did Crumbl open in Mexico City?+

Crumbl opened its first Mexican store on 28 July 2026 at Durango 225 in Roma Norte. Mexican press reported queues of up to seventeen hours and roughly 800 people around the block, with enough foot traffic to disrupt the surrounding streets. A few international outlets date the opening to 29 July.

How long is the line at Crumbl Mexico City now?+

Much shorter than on opening day. When I filmed on a weekday morning in August 2026 the line took about fifteen minutes. The store has no seating and uses self-service tablets plus a screen for delivery orders, which keeps it moving. Weekend afternoons and the days right after a Sunday flavour reveal are the slowest.

How does the Crumbl weekly menu work?+

Crumbl keeps a catalogue of more than 270 recipes and puts only three or four flavours on sale each week, announced on Sunday evening on TikTok and Instagram. A flavour that rotates out can be gone for months. The opening week in Mexico City ran Tres Leches Cake, Confetti Cake and S'mores alongside classics including Cookies and Cream, Pink Sugar and Milk Chocolate Chip.

Are Crumbl's opening hours the same every day?+

Reports differ, which is common for a store this new. Mexican coverage lists Monday to Saturday service, variously from 10:00 to 22:00 and from 12:00 to 20:00, with Sunday closed, and notes that closing time in the first weeks depended on foot traffic. Check crumblcookies.mx or the Crumbl app for the current schedule before travelling.

Can you sit down at Crumbl in Roma Norte?+

No. Crumbl Roma Norte is a takeaway counter with an open kitchen you can watch, self-service ordering tablets and a delivery pickup screen, but no tables. Plan to walk your box to a bench or a nearby café. Roma Norte has plenty of both within a couple of blocks.

Are Crumbl cookies worth the queue?+

That is a matter of taste rather than fact, so here is mine from August 2026: the cookies were well made, some still warm, and extremely sweet, and beyond the marketing I could not tell them apart from good cookies at other bakeries. The chocolate chip and plain chocolate were the more balanced of the six I bought. The queue on a normal weekday is short enough that the question barely arises now.
